Future Indefinite Tense

Rules

  • Always use 1st form of the verb
  • Helping verbs of future indefinite tense are (will, shall)
  • If (he, she, it, you, they, singular or plural noun) is used as the subject of the sentence “will” is used as the helping verb.
  • If (I or we) is used as the subject of the sentence “shall” is used as the helping verb.
  • Examples of simple or positive sentences.
  • He will go to the college.
  • I shall attend the meeting.
  • In negative sentences “not” is used after the helping verb.
  • (will not, shall not)
  • Examples of negative sentences.
  • He will not go to college.
  • I shall not attend the meeting.
  • In interrogative sentences helping verb is used in start of the sentence.
  • Examples of interrogative sentences.
  • Will he go to the college?
  • Shall I attend the meeting?
